The Chin Family, a project created by Stefano Giovannoni and Rumiko Takeda, in collaboration with the National Palace Museum of Taiwan. An entertaining, intelligent compendium of small characters who each carry out a domestic task. Head, hat, pompom, body, and feet are all interchangeable. The combination of Alessi's tradition with the continual search for new working methods make The Chin Family a significant milestone in the encounter between two profoundly different cultures, as well as a new linguistic step for Alessi. Each character is decorated by hand.
