5.5 designers is a design research office. Originating in 2003 for the Réanim project, a medicine for objects, 5.5 designers began many collaborations with major companies (Arc, Ozé, Bernardaud, Galeries Lafayette, etc). Their aim is to constantly propose successful consumer alternatives, while keeping their products both functional and humorous.

Guided by Stéphane Arriubergé e Massimiliano Iorio, and with the creative input of designers, artists, and graphic designers, the objects created by the Domestic brand are characterised by innovative, groundbreaking concepts and themes. Domestic's objects aim to give all customers the possibility of embarking on their own personal creative voyage.
