Husam El Odeh is a German born artist turned jewelry designer. The appeal of his original designs resides in finding a connection with the body, therefore making a visual statement that attracts our tactile senses. He uses hard metal, steel, gold, soft leather and pearls to show contrapositions, highly influenced by the Dada surrealistic approach to objects and the surrounding world. He has the unique capacity to play with Art by transforming beginning of 19th century dandy pieces into contemporary references such as street style, where even casts of teeth become glam and gold.
