Hi-Cut (2 pz.)
Design by Philippe Starck
This chair features a minimal and clean design that echoes art deco and is extremely eclectic and precious, thereby conferring a touch of personality and originality to the environment around it. The design of the chair's single-mould structure plays on the duo of curve and angle: The front legs are square, just like the front part of the seat, whereas the back legs, like the backrest, start from a softer and rounded line and return cleanly to the upper part of the back. Set of 2 chairs.

Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck, born in Paris in 1949, is one of the most prolific and original designers of this era. Winner of important acknowledgements like the Grand Prix National de la Création industrielle and the American Institute of Architects Honor Award, he defines himself as "a Japanese architect, an American set designer, a German industrial designer, a French art director, an Italian furniture designer."
An Italian engineer's idea of turning our habitat into a plastic dream created a new language for the domestic scenario. Technology and the willingness to go beyond the boundaries of human vision are the values behind Kartell: the designer's design, international minds working together on an innovative project based on inquiry, brilliant signature forms and objects without limits.
