The editorial project is a definitive look at the Italian film industry in the years spanning the fifties and sixties. Pierluigi Praturlon, otherwise known as "the Prince" of Italian photographers, was a constant presence on the Hollywood film sets in Rome during the "Dolce Vita" era. Working initially on the "stills", he eventually became Sophia Loren's official photographer for more than two decades. The stills included in this volume include those taken on the sets of films like Ben Hur, La Dolce Vita, Marriage Italian-Style, the Pink Panther and many others. Highlights include portraits of movie stars like Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale, Anita Ekberg, Raquel Welch and Peter Sellers.
