The idea of the Bijoux containers, which come in four variants, comes from the desire to present sweets and pastries – and even more valuable items – in an exquisitely designed case. Made entirely by hand by master Italian artisans, it's a family of objects that focus on the chromatic contrast between opaque varnishes and golden finishes in traditional ceramic, mixed with hand-blown glass.

Kiki van Eijk graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2000 and became well-known in the industry thanks to the Kiki Carpet. By designing with a strong personal touch and ideas, she represents the new generation of Dutch designers. Her work can be easily recognized by her mild and playful designs, combining old and new techniques with unexpected results.
