This catalogue is put together like a breathtaking collaborative project by the famous glassworks company Venini, founded by Paolo Venini in 1921 and family-run until 1986 when the company was sold to other owners. Anna Venini Diaz de Santillana, the catalogue's curator, has traced the course of "Vetrerie Verini" with 250 items and their individual designers: Napoleone Martinuzzi to Carlo Scarpa, from Paolo Venini himself to Tomaso Buzzi, from Fulvio Bianconi to Ludovico Diaz de Santillana. Furthermore, the volume includes reproductions of the three historic catalogues (blue, red, green) of Vetreria Venini.
