"Polipo" is an octopus right out of an old-fashioned Japanese cartoon. Fashioned out of ceramic, it's as durable as our childhood memories, and serves as a reminder of carefree times all too easily forgotten. Limited edition series of 99 available pieces.

Andrea Visconti


Andrea Visconti was born in Asti in 1978. In 2003, he graduated in graphics and advertising from the European Institute of Design in Turin. From 2003 to 2005 Visconti lived between Turin and Sydney, Australia, working as a freelance graphic designer. Once back in Italy, he and two partners co-founded the design company Superego, where he currently works. Visconti’s experience in graphics and passion for pop art are the hallmarks of his design works.
The project Superego was conceived of in 2003 at Movimento Moderno, a company operating in the design, decorative arts and modern antiques sector. With the cooperation of some of the most important Italian and international designers, Superego sets out to create exclusive collections of limited edition ceramic and plexiglass design items.
