In 2007 the artistic calling of Matteo Mena and Ilenia Corti, designer for her family's historic jewelry brand Santagostino based in Valenza, led to the creation of Vernissage. Ilenia's multidisciplinary imagination transforms incomparable artisanal craftsmanship and the finest materials into a personal artistic vision that draws on fairy tales, alchemy and zoology. Each Vernissage piece is an interplay of light and dark, old and new, dreams and melancholy, childhood and decadence.
