Massimo Iosa Ghini was born in 1959 and earned his degree from Milan’s Polytechnic Institute. He’s been a key figure in the avant-garde movement of Italian design since 1985, he founded the Boldismo movement and was part of the Memphis group with Ettore Sottsass. In the same years, he opened the Iosa Ghini and Associates Studio, where he worked as an architect and designer, creating objects and working as the artistic director for many renowned companies throughout Italy and around the world, with his signature style. His evolution as an architect evolved with his designs of cultural installations, commercial buildings and chain stores around the world.
