More about this item
The new iron age. Professor Sarpaneva’s father was a blacksmith. Passing his childhood near fire and molten metal, the designer was inspired to re-create the traditional cast iron pot. The Sarpaneva pot combines tradition, functionality and a sophisticated sense of beauty. A basic item for the home that can be taken from stovetop to tabletop. The removable wooden handle for lifting the lid and carrying the pot is what makes this classic item innovative. The cast iron pot with enamelled interior can be used on the stove and in the oven. When it’s time to serve, bring the pot to the table for everyone to admire what has been described as the most beautiful cast iron pot in the world.
