Rodolfo Dordoni graduated with a degree in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1979. After gaining experience in several architecture studios, he moved on to industrial design and image strategy identification from the product to communications. Dordoni collaborated with numerous companies as consultant and designer. At the same time he devised architectural projects and exhibition, events and public office décor. He began working with VENINI in 1995.

Its strong tendency towards experimentation on languages, shapes and materials, and its collaboration with both well-established masters and younger talented exponents of international design, have led Foscarini to make a name for itself in the lighting design scene as a dynamic, cultured and creative reality. The result is an astonishing polyhedric collection: lamps with a strong distinct personality that share the ability of turning space into a scenery of emotions.
