YOOXYGEN aims to spread environmental awareness by collaborating with international brands, designers and talents. Founded on Earth Day, 2009, YOOXYGEN presents new eco-sustainable projects, eco-friendly fashion and design, and exclusive, limited-edition collections.

SMART WATER FOR GREEN SCHOOLS


YOOXYGEN supports Green Cross International’s project, which aims to provide communities with clean drinking water and children with a correct health education on the use of water resources. Smart Water for Green Schools offers concrete solutions for communities living in extremely dry areas, crossing boundaries and countries. Some examples are equipping schools with rainwater harvesting systems, with ecological sanitation facilities, developing environmental, hygiene and health education programs and installing other water systems such as wells for the wider community.

THE FLAGSHIP PROJECT WAS STARTED IN GHANA IN 2010 AND SINCE EXTENDED TO BOLIVIA, AND CHINA, ARGENTINA, IVORY COAST AND UKRAINE, WITH SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS MADE TO DATE:


  • Sustainable access to safe drinking water for more than 52,000 people in Ghana, Bolivia, and China, Argentina, Ivory Coast and Ukraine
  • Reduction of the risk of deadly waterborne diseases
  • Promotion of a safe and sustainable use of water resources
  • Increase in school attendance, education for girls and gender equality
  • Expansion of the project to other communities: Ghana, Bolivia, China and in the near future Sri Lanka, Mexico and Haiti
