- Manuela Gandini was born in Alessandria (Italy) in 1962. She lives and works in Milan. In 2004 MANUGANDA was born with the launch of the first signed collection. Since 2005 she has been exhibiting at several design exhibitions and trade fairs in Italy and abroad. The aim of her work is to create contemporary jewellery pieces that could be worn for years without being influenced by fashion trends. The result is a mix of design and creativity with a special attention to the aesthetic rigour of shapes and the clean combination of materials, colours and finishes. Following this line of research, in addition to the precious metal jewellery production, she focused her interest on materials not frequently used in traditional jewellery also improving her knowledge in 3D modelling and in different production techniques, both hand-crafted and industrial.
