- Alba Rosa Mancini, born in Taranto in 1952. An architect, designer, artist and craftswoman, she lives and works in Naples on her design, homeware and jewellery projects: her distinctive style comes from the sensations, irony and the almost physical contact with objects that can mutate into vehicles for the emotions. Her first jewellery collection, entitled “I Vesuvi”, came out in 2000. The folding line and the cutting line are the starting point for this pared-down jewellery that envelopes space in movement. Each piece is not just an ornament; it dialogues with the wearer, becomes part of her way of being and feeling: unique pieces, designed to create a strong connection with the owner. Alba Rosa has taken part in collective and one-woman exhibitions and has featured in a number of national and international publications.
