More about Xavier Lust
Born in Bruges, Belgium in 1969, Lust got his degree in interior design in Brussels in 1992. Since 1990 he has been devoted to designing and creating furniture and accessories oriented towards industrial production, combining function with beauty and high tech with high touch. Lust works with different design companies, and recently his products were exhibited at the Saint-Étienne International Design Biennial, at the International Furniture Salon in Milan, and at the “De Nieuwe Oogst” and “San’t in Buitenland” shows at the VIZO gallery in Brussels. He has won many international awards such as first prize for Best Design Object in Cologne in 2003 with PickNick and the Henry van de Velde 2003 Award for Young Talent in 2003.
