Street art meets design in Boot I. The robot symbol that was the hallmark of artist PixelPancho’s work on walls, tiles and canvas is transformed into a sculpture/vase. A limited edition series, 29 pieces.
More about PixelPancho
Enrico Bertorelli was born in Turin in 1984. He attended the Fine Arts Academy, where he studied graphic arts. In 1996, he started creating graffiti art, improving his spray and felt pen techniques and experimenting with street art. While at the academy he also worked with traditional techniques such as painting, engraving, lithography, sculpture and computer graphics as well. In 2000, he started a new project: first pop-style astronauts and then robots on the walls of Turin. Eventually, the graphics evolved as did the technique and the materials. For two years he has been reproducing robots on tiles that are then stuck to walls, arcades and inside bars. During this same period he began to sign his tiles with the tag Pixel Pancho.
