More about Ettore Sottsass
Ettore Sottsass (1917 – 2007) was born in Innsbruck, Austria and studied at the Polytechnic University of Turin, graduating in 1939. He engaged in the creation of furniture, design objects and ceramics, and took part in the periodic Triennals of Milan between 1947 and 1960. In 1958 Sottsass became design consultant for Olivetti and he received his fair share of recognition.
