Born in 1962, after studying art Locatelli earned a degree in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, where he has been teaching for a number of years. He works on architectural and design projects as well as studio work involving the applied arts, from decoration to illustration to graphics and painting. Locatelli has worked with Driade since the early nineties when he and William Bertocco created three mirrors for the design company. Locatelli’s products are in line with the many facets of Driade: stands for trade fairs, shops in various parts of the world, catalogues and the decor for parties in Milan during the Furniture Salon. Recent works include a shop/gallery in Hong Kong, a bar/restaurant in Seoul and an apartment on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
