Known for creating glamorous and innovative costume jewelry, Mr. Lane became a favorite among the American social elite of the '60s. Style icons such as Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland and Audrey Hepburn all wore his designs. Over five decades later, he is considered one of the most legendary and influential costume jewelers of all time.
