- An artist and designer, she ventured into goldsmithery after gaining experience in graphic design, fashion and furnishing, while retaining an interest in the issues associated with mass production. In the 1980s, upon developing her first series of cut chains, she won a bursary to study at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice. During the same period she created visually poetic notebooks and drawings, which formed the basis for her subsequent work with jewelry. Between 1976 and 1994 she taught goldsmithery at Venice's Istituto Statale d'arte. She has held courses in Florence, at Le Arti Orafe jewelry School and Academy, at Milan's Politecnico and at the I.U.A.V. in Venice. Since 1987 she has marketed her collections directly in Europe, receiving significant acclaim, awards, and invitations to workshops and exhibitions in France, Spain, Germany, Holland and Italy.
