BLOB RING
Blob rings are made of silver and colored plastic and incorporate mini pop objects with the same omnivorous capacity as the famous mass of magma featured in the eponymous movie. The collection, created in 1992, features a combination of materials such as silver, different plastics, pearls, minerals, objets trouvés or miniatures created by the artist. Some Blob rings are owned by prestigious museums, such as the Museo degli Argenti in Florence, and the Alice and Louis Koch private collection in Basel. They have also been quoted in Italian daily newspapers and specialist magazines and appear in the major historical records of contemporary jewelry, such as the Dictionary of Italian jewelry of the 19th and 20th centuries, published by Allemandi and edited by Lia Lenti and Maria Cristina Bergesio.

- Barbara Uderzo has been a jewellery designer since 1990. Over the years she has developed and maintained her commitment to research and experimentation, creating unique jewellery that has been exhibited at European art galleries and published in magazines and books. She also collaborates with major goldsmith's companies on the design and production of prototypes for new jewellery collections. In addition to her artistic and design activities, she has also taught at design schools. Alert to aspects of contemporaneity, she has conducted in-depth research into different materials, both precious and alternative, ranging from artisan techniques to industrial technologies. Her materials of choice, aside from metals, are: plastic, wood, paper and perishables such as chocolate, sugar, ice and snow. She currently lives and works in Creazzo (Vicenza) and Milan.
