- Orietta Bomè was born in Tione di Trento where she lives and works. She attended a course on goldsmith's model-making and design in Milan. The fundamental and formative experience of her work has been built up through her decade-long relationship with maestro Giancarlo Montebello, from whom she has learned the majority of her construction and design knowledge and whose focus on research into equilibrium of form she emulates. Parallel to this, she also experimented with jewelry as a model-maker for noted companies until finding her own expressive form, a harmonious structural extract, formal-imaginative and textural style that combines gold, steel, silver and Plexiglas to create function and aesthetics in total transparency, where technique becomes content. A fusion of art and design. Orietta has taken part in numerous collective exhibitions on the contemporary jewelry scene.
