Enciclopedico campionario di soluzioni a domande possibili, una parte del proprio archivio personale venne donata da Bruno Munari allo CSAC di Parma nel 1979. Dai primi disegni per dipinti astratti degli anni ’30 agli studi progettuali dei Negativi-positivi, dagli schizzi per i progetti di grafica editoriale alla raccolta delle edizioni originali dei propri giochi, una collezione ricca di testimonianze in gran parte inedite che gettano luce sul modo di progettare di Munari “dietro le quinte”. Dalla lezione del Bauhaus all’eredità della psicologia di Piaget, Munari assimila gli stimoli visivi e concettuali del Novecento restituendoli in una ricchezza creativa assolutamente nuova e personale che, come è stato detto, “brucia” una quantità di principi capaci ciascuno di sorreggere un’intera vita artistica.
