More about Matteo Thun
Matteo Thun was born in Bolzano, Italy, in 1952. He studied at the Salzburg Academy under Oskar Kokoschka and graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Florence in 1975 alongside Adolfo Natalini. In 1978 Thun moved to Milan where met and began to work with Ettore Sottsass; and in 1984 he founded his Matteo Thun studio in Milan. Matteo has won both the Compasso d’Oro and more recently a Wallpaper* Design Award 2010. He began collaborating with VENINI in 2011.
