About the artist
Yoko Ono As an artist, film-maker, poet, musician, writer, performance artist and peace activist for over five decades, Yoko Ono has influenced generations of people. During the 1960s, she was linked to Fluxus, a loose association of Dada-inspired avant-garde artists. Her work as a conceptual artist continues to defy traditional boundaries by creating new forms of artistic expression. (Born Tokyo 1933)
