The Fornasetti stools are among the most famous and versatile reinventions by Barnaba Fornasetti. Made from wood. Printed, lacquered and painted by hand. Thanks to their height, they can also be used as mini coffee tables. “Malachite”, the motif on the seat, takes it hypnotic swirls and distinctive colour from the eponymous semiprecious stone. Originally created by Piero Fornasetti to adorn his iconic trumeau, which he produced together with Gio Ponti in the 1950s, it has since featured on numerous objects, including a limited-edition bicycle.
