Laboratorio Paravicini
The artisan Laboratorio Paravicini, a Milan-based producer of thin ceramic tableware sets, presents itself in poetic-like tones. “Upon request, exclusive designs are transferred by hand using a brush or serigraph printing. The technique involves under glazing and high firing. Made in house. Any drawing, repeatable or different each time. Production of single pieces or infinite collections. Plates, tea and coffee sets, cachepots, vases, tiles, candlesticks, centrepieces and party favours". In operation since the early nineties, the Paravicini Laboratorio already possesses the air of a great classic owing to its decision to give porcelain back what industrial manufacturing took from it: heat and atmosphere. One only has to look at a Paravicini plate to understand how the thin white ceramic produced in-house and the decorations in the intriguing designs make the Laboratorio's artisan plates captivating, unique items that are suitable both for collectors and to laden tables. One eye is on the quality of the past and the other on the contemporary spirit.
