A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO CLOTHING CARE

Want to take better care of your clothing? Discover our tips on how to make fabrics and materials last longer

LEATHER

Wondering how to treat your beloved leather jacket or favourite leather trousers? We recommend not washing them by hand or in the washing machine. Instead, wipe stains gently with a damp cloth and mild soap or cleansing milk.

VISCOSE

Don’t ruin your Hawaiian shirts or other warm-weather looks: wash them inside out on a gentle cycle at 30°C. No need to use the dryer, just reshape and lay them out horizontally while still damp.

MERINO WOOL

When the temperatures start to drop, it’s time to pull out your favourite jumpers and give them some love. How? Wash them by hand with a mild detergent and cool water. Then hang them to dry in the fresh air, or even better, lay them out flat.

LINEN

When it’s hot out, linen is a must-have for any occasion. Always wash your linen garments inside out at 30°C without fabric softener, and then air dry. Dry clean with a gentle spin cycle and iron at a maximum of 150°C.

SATIN

Elegant and always in style, satin is worth caring for! Keep your pieces looking their best by gently dry cleaning them and not using the dryer. Iron at a maximum of 110°C, using a damp cloth for protection.

QUILTED ITEMS

For padded jackets, gilets and skirts, we recommend delicate dry cleaning without bleach. Don’t use the dryer and iron at a maximum of 110°C, with a damp cloth between the iron and the garment.

PLEATS

Treating pleated garments is simple! Machine-wash them at a maximum of 30°C or dry clean. Dry them in the shade and use a cloth for ironing. Make sure to store them with ample space so as to not ruin the pleats!
