In the 1980s, Diego and Andrea Della Valle were in the United States when they had a brilliant idea, spotting the potential of the jackets worn by Maine’s firefighters. They thus took over the Fay brand, a specialist producer of technical clothing, with the aim of bringing it to Italy and revolutionising the concept of workwear. Today, the brand is part of the large Tod’s group and offers jumpers, jackets, down jackets and trousers that have become must-haves for lovers of urban style.
