Ash was founded in 2000 by talented French designer Patrick Ithier and Italian entrepreneur Leonello Calvani. This joint commercial venture between Italy and France infuses the brand with the best of both worlds, blending two fashion, aesthetic and luxury traditions that have always influenced each other. Focusing at first on footwear only, nowadays Ash also offers clothing and accessories, though shoes remain its main segment. It remains largely unrivalled in this sector, thanks to its manufacturing and design expertise, clearly seen in its platform sole ankle boots and trainers.
