Esthetics and functionality combine in Reginald Sylvester II’s Candle Vessel, made special by artist Tschabalala Self who collaborated with the designer on the special
packaging. The CV Object is made of black charcoal-dyed cement, slip-cast from a 3D printed plaster mold. The surface is smooth and yet textured. Housed within the vessel is a removable stainless-steel candle holder. The object is also hollowed to function as a true vessel for potting, housing liquids, and more.
