Initially producing lamps and then later furniture, Normann Copenhagen's essential, functional and innovative style successfully and skilfully combines the most extrovert research of colour, structure and functionality with an aesthetic that is always coherent, svelte and eye-catching. A prime example is Simon Karkov's famous Norm 69 lamp, the brand's first major success. The lamp features seemingly chaotic overlapping of geometric shapes with a sophisticated, perfectly uniform overall vision.
