Manufacturer of a myriad of products, such as the iconic La Cupola coffee maker by Aldo Rossie, the Juicy Salif juicer by Philippe Starck, or the Anna G. corkscrew by Alessandro Mendini, Alessi moved on from pure artisanal craftsmanship to large-scale production in the seventies, when it began to collaborate with high-calibre artists such as Achille Castiglioni, Ettore Sottsass and Richard Sapper, recently working with starchitects such as Zaha Hadid, David Chipperfield, and Jean Nouvel.
