Gattinoni is an Italian fashion brand with a long and prestigious history. Founded in 1946, in Fernanda Gattinoni’s workshop in Rome, it soon became the haute-couture brand for Cinecittà divas, and later for Hollywood stars, noblewomen and first ladies, too. Ingrid Bergman, Eva Peron, Anna Magnani and Audrey Hepburn have worn its creations. Furthermore, British royal Princess Margaret famously broke royal etiquette, which forbade members of the Royal Family to wear clothing by foreign dressmakers, in order to wear a piece by the Roman fashion house. Over the years, Gattinoni constantly innovated itself, infusing ready-to-wear fashion and footwear collections including trainers and sandals with all-Italian style and glamour.
