This garment is made with certified viscose and recycled wool and polyamide. Recycled wool requires much less water and chemicals than the production of classic wool. By replacing the need for breeding, and thus avoiding methane emissions during the animal's digestive process and the use of pesticides, emissions are significantly reduced. Recycled polyamide gives a second life to a non-biodegradable material. Its production requires fewer resources and generates fewer emissions than normal polyamide while maintaining the same quality. Certified viscose is a cellulose fiber from sustainable forests. A responsibly managed forest absorbs atmospheric carbon, and thus helps mitigate climate change. All cellulose-based textile fibers originating from these forests and processed with environmentally friendly processes are renewable resources.
